Minutes of the Threlkeld Parish Council Meeting held at Threlkeld Village Hall, on Tuesday 21 August 2018 at 7.30pm

• The signing of the minutes of the Council meeting held on 24 July 2018 & the extraordinary meeting held on 7 August 2018 (Circulated prior to meeting) were authorised for signing.

2017 / 336 - Eden District Council & Cumbria County Council Representation

• None

2017 / 337 - War Memorial

• It was agreed for the clerk to contact Packhorse Steel for an update on the new posts
• The 100-year end of the First World War in November was discussed, and it was agreed:
• For the Clerk to contact Youth Club, School and Brownies/Rainbows to see if they would be willing to take part in the celebrations
• For the Chair to contact the British Legion regarding a “special” wreath
• Cllr David Arkley offered to provide Mulled Wine to the attendees of the service.  
• To be discussed again at the September meting

2017 / 338 - Melbutts Conifers

• It was agreed to monitor the situation and re-discuss at the September meeting

2017 / 339 - October 2018 meeting

• It was agreed that due to the absence of 3 councillors and possible absence of the Clerk to cancel the scheduled meeting for October.  

2017 / 340 - Dickney

• It was agreed to initially erect signs requesting no parking passed a certain point, further action to be taken if the signs do not solve the issue.  

2017 / 341 - Finance

• 341.1 - The Bank Reconciliation for August 2018 was approved for by the Chairman
