The local hunt - organises regular hunt meetings within the law, including the Opening Hunt in October each year; some social events.

Locality Transport Officer for Cumbria County Council

Informal weekly lottery raising money for village organisations.

The focus for many church based activities and a few extending into the community more generally.

Theatre by the Lake Volunteers

For well over 10 years Threlkeld volunteers have had an arrangement with the Theatre whereby three volunteers are provided every Saturday evening.

Threlkeld Activities Association

A voluntary organisation that organises a range of community events, activities and programmes aimed at the local area and beyond.

Threlkeld Children's Summer Outing Committee

Organises and raises money for an annual childrens outing and a Christmas Party.

Threlkeld Coffee Shop

Based in the Village Hall, open 10-5 (closed Mondays in winter), serving coffee, tea, cakes, scones, soup and sandwiches. Operated by a Community Interest Company with all surplus profits used for community benefit. See Coffee Shop.

Very active in the cricket season, organises some social events as well.
